CBD has been shown to be effective with many of the common GI tract issues, including IBS, Colitis and Crohn’s Disease.

Research has shown that Crohn’s disease suffers can benefit by using cannabinoids like CBD and CBDA. Raw CBD contains the full range of cannabinoids and terpenes and is a whole plant full spectrum extract from agricultural hemp. It contains a higher amount of CBDA than a decarboxylated (heated) CBD. It can take from a few days to a few weeks to take effect, though many people find relief from the very first drop.

Studies have also shown that smoking cannabis (marijuana — the dried parts of the cannabis plant) has improved IBS symptoms, including pain, nausea, and decreased appetite.
